Rahul Rathod is the Associate Chair of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. He is also the Director of the Single Ventricle Program and Fontan Clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital. His research interests focus primarily on the use of advanced CMR technologies in predicting the outcomes of patients with single ventricle heart disease.  He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Fontan Outcomes Registry using CMR Examinations (FORCE). FORCE is an international collaboration of 42 institutions and, to date, is the world’s largest research platform/data set of patients after the Fontan operation. He is also currently the Global PI for the FUEL-2 trial, which will be the world’s largest randomized controlled trial in Fontan patients.
