Head of perfusion-ECMO Coordinator IRCCS Policlinico San Donato Milan

first obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Cardiocirculatory Physiopathology and Cardiovascular Perfusion Techniques and then a Master’s Degree in Science. He has been certified by the EBCP and he got Masters in Healthcare Management, in HTA and in Basic and Advanced Echocardiography. He is Coordinator of the ECMO / ECLS Unit and of the Perfusion Service of the IRCCS Policlinic San Donato and clinical researcher in the same Institute. He has an assignment as a contract professor in clinical sciences and head of pediatric tutoring within the TFCPC degree of the University of Insubria in Varese. He is responsible for perfusion training in the International Programs of the IRCCS Policlinic San Donato and actively involved in the ONLUS “Cardiopathic Children Association in the World”. He has been author of several scientific publications in indexed journals and book chapters relating to ECMO, ECLS and coagulation in ECC and mechanical circulatory supports.
