Dr. Alvise Guariento is a pediatric and congenital cardiac surgeon at the University of Padova, Italy. With prior training at prestigious institutions, including the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Boston Children’s Hospital, he is deeply committed to the advancement of congenital cardiac surgery. Dr. Guariento earned his medical license and board certification in cardiac surgery from the University of Padova, where he also completed his residency. His research and clinical experience have earned him the EACTS Young Investigator Award. Passionate about improving clinical outcomes for children with congenital heart disease, he continues to contribute to the field through both surgical practice and innovative research, focusing on simulation and preoperative planning on 3D printed models.
